Cologne has always been an interestingly researched substance throughout our history. Even today, a lot of combinations and permutations are being tried to create a huge variety of fragrances that evoke different feelings. Here are some tips to choose the right kind of a cologne for men.
Perfumes can be broadly classified into two categories: heavy scented and light scented. Of late, it has become quite common to regular and often, insensible usage of heavy scents, but it is generally agreed that the light scented colognes are the best for all situations. The heavy scented ones are usually associated with sex appeal and it would not be quite appropriate in, say, a general gathering or a meeting.
The blending of perfumes is a complex process. Those who have seen the movie Perfume would be familiar with the hard work involved in creating the desired scent. This usually involves mixing oil and alcohol in suitable combinations. Sometimes, natural herbs and scents are also involved in the making. The cost of the cologne is proportionate to these efforts, ingredients and methods. However, many great perfumes can be had for quite affordable rates.
While the lightness of scent, type of the scent (natural, artificial) and rate all help you in choosing the right one, it should also be borne in mind that you will have to think about reactions too. To some men, certain cologne might affect the skin by causing rashes, or patches. It is necessary that you try it, realize your allergies and choose the cologne accordingly. It is often found that heavy scented perfumes often cause severe effects on the skin. Go for light ones and you may very well find it enormously useful at almost all occasions or events.
